Yukon National Bank opened its doors for business July 12, 1912 with capital stock of $25,000. In all of our 90 plus years, the business has remained family owned and operated. The first President was John F. Kroutil, followed by Raymond Kroutil, then C.R Wright who married Kathryn R. Kroutil; and the current president of the bank is Randy Wright.
The bank withstood the Stock Market Crash of 1929, the Great Depression of the 1930s, and the Oil Bust of the 1980s. This last event caused the closing of many banks across Oklahoma and the country.
In January of 1994, YNB had the Grand Opening of their Mustang Loan Production Office at 218 N. Mustang Road, which became the YNB Mustang Bank in October, 1996. In March of 1999, YNB opened the YNB Banking Service Center at 3501 N. Mustang Road. In July of 2004, the Parkway Location opened at 1550 Garth Brooks Blvd. In January of 2006 YNB has added two new locations with the Peoples Branch at 6201 NW 23rd St in Bethany and the Quail branch located at 12401 N. May, Suite 101 in Oklahoma City.
The Main Bank Drive-Thru was remodeled in the fall of 2005 with wider, more convenient lanes and 2-way interactive monitors. Thanks for all of your support over the years. Our customers are our greatest assets.
