Why is My Card Blocked?
YNB Fraud Protection Program

Protecting our members from fraud is a top priority for YNB. To provide additional card security YNB uses a system, which continuously monitors your VISA Debit card activity.

If suspicious charges or transactions outside of your normal spending pattern appear on your card, your card could possible be “Blocked”. Although the YNB Fraud detection system is designed to detect abnormal activity on your card, it is possible that a legitimate purchase may appear suspicious and be declined.

If YNB reaches you directly you will never be asked to provide your full social security number, VISA card account number or PIN. If we are unable to reach you directly, we will leave a message asking you to contact YNB.

And if we are unable to contact you regarding the suspicious charges, your card may be temporarily blocked to prevent any fraudulent activity. The block will be removed once we are able to confirm the validity of the charges with you.

If you suspect a valid charge has been blocked, please call YNB at 354.5281 during business hours.
