Carolyn is a lifelong Yukon native. Her family has owned and operated the bank since its founding in 1912. She graduated in 1975 with a Bachelors in Marketing from Oklahoma State University. Carolyn continued her education with a Masters degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1991. She taught for the Yukon Public Schools until 2003 when she joined the family business. Carolyn started at YNB Main as the Executive Vice President of Marketing and continues in that role today. She works with every department within the bank designing marketing campaigns and promoting bank products and services. In addition, she is responsible for the bank’s community outreach and oversees the banks donations and sponsorships of community groups and events. Carolyn has a passion for serving the community and believes YNB has a special role in giving back. Annually, Carolyn oversees the awarding of several $1,000 scholarships in her mother’s name: Kathryn R. Wright. Kathryn was a loyal supporter of the arts in Yukon and shared the same passion for serving the community that Carolyn exemplifies to this day.
